Good questions
Singapore or UK size?
Choose the size that matches your mattress. Singapore sizes fit 190cm-long mattresses, and UK sizes fit 200cm-long mattresses, good for taller sleepers.
Is the mattress included?
No, it’s sold separately. Pick the mattress size that matches your bed size in the table above.
How high is the bed?
The headboard is 90cm high. The slats sit 18.3cm off the floor, inside 29.3cm-high side rails, so your bed height is 18.3cm plus your mattress thickness.
Can I store things under the bed?
Yes. There’s about 18cm of space under the frame for flat storage boxes.
What sockets are in the headboard?
Japanese-style power sockets (2 flat pins), on the shelf along the top of the headboard, with grooves to keep cables neat. The power cord has a Japanese plug too, so you’ll need a travel adapter (not included) to plug it into a Singapore wall socket.
Why do some sizes take longer?
Sizes we don’t have in stock are made to order and show their delivery time when you choose them.
What is it made of?
Solid North American FAS-grade oak for the frame, headboard, legs and slats, with a centre support bar and adjustable middle legs.
Can you take away my old furniture?
Yes. We offer a disposal service from $70, depending on the item and size. Let us know when we call to schedule your delivery.
Will the colour look the same as the photos?
Very close, but actual colours may look slightly different because of lighting, photography and screen settings. Why colours can vary ›
Keep it looking new
Everyday
Dust with a soft, dry cloth. Wipe along the grain.
Spills
Wipe up straight away with a soft cloth, then dry the surface. Don’t leave water standing on the wood.
Avoid
Bleach, solvents, abrasive pads and strong detergents. Use coasters under hot or wet things on the headboard shelf.
In our climate
Keep it out of strong direct sunlight to prevent fading, and let humid rooms air out. Wood can shift slightly with humidity, so check and tighten the screws now and then.
These are general tips. Read our full care guide › Damage from harsh cleaners, abrasives or misuse isn’t covered by the warranty.
